About the role
- Proposal Leader managing the complete proposal process for industrial automation bids and service offerings. Collaborating with customers and teams to ensure compliance and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete proposal process from initial customer contact through contract signing and handover to delivery teams.
- Prepare bids for industrial automation and operational services, including machine upgrades, migrations, operational networks, infrastructure, security, asset management contracts, repairs, training, and related services.
- Validate and endorse technical solutions for industrial automation and operational services, ensuring agreement on customer requirements and company standards.
- Analyze project inputs to develop accurate estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.
- Collaborate with customers, Sales teams, and Field Engineers/Consultants to define functional requirements and provide solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Understand customer application needs and create conceptual designs for Rockwell Automation solutions, including Field Engineering Projects.
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations that comply with internal policies, financial goals, and customer requirements.
- Promote the full portfolio of Rockwell Automation offerings by identifying opportunities to expand the scope of services.
- Provide regular status updates to Sales Account Managers, Department Leads, and Management.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and company policies, including delegation authority.
- Stay current with advancements in industrial automation and IT/OT solutions, demonstrating stay up to date with industry trends and adapt.
- Address complex commercial and technical challenges at local and regional levels.
- Lead activities of others to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in either Field-based Engineering role or previous Proposal Experience in an Industrial Automation environment.
- Fluent in English and Polish (verbal and written).
