Responsibilities
**Key Responsibilities:**
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
Manage and lead Labour Relations activities from early resolutions to arbitration.
Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on HR policies, workforce planning, and labour relations.
Champion culture-building efforts that promote respect, inclusion, and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and promote staff well-being.
Lead a multidisciplinary HR team, including Payroll & Benefits, HR Generalist, and Systems Coordinator.
Develop and implement learning and development initiatives that support employee growth.
Partner with managers to design engagement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Requirements
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Extensive knowledge of labour relations, including relevant legislation, collective bargaining frameworks grievance processes, and dispute resolution.
CHRP or CHRL designation is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR leadership within a unionized environment.
Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with expertise in coaching and conflict resolution.
