About the role

  • Carrier Wholesale Account Manager accelerating internet connectivity in the Philippines. Focus on client engagement, account management, and fostering partnerships in the telecommunications sector.

Responsibilities

  • Execute, follow through and complete operational requirements of domestic carrier & wholesale accounts as the main point of contact from the company
  • Manage, up-sell, and renew agreements of assigned accounts
  • Drive advanced understanding in selling through carrier partners to achieve or surpass sales targets
  • Intensify the company’s presence throughout the carrier industry through new engagements.
  • Participate with customer planning, serving as the subject matter expert capable of leading the customers to the best solution
  • Develop carrier relationships by maintaining constant contact with existing partners and assisting in identifying appropriate partnerships that fit within the Carrier model
  • Build firm relationships with key persons and decision makers in organizations to identify and create business opportunities
  • Work with support and operation teams to resolve carrier related issues.
  • Carry out market research and provide relevant management information
  • Work with the Carrier & Wholesale Business Manager to create propositions for sales strategies in accordance with the division’s goals
  • Support the sales strategies to generate maximum sales potential
  • Provide administrative support such as updating systems, billing and invoicing, sales and management reporting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure activities are compliant with internal policies, including but not limited to data privacy and conflict of interest.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working in the telecommunications industry in a business development role, preferably focusing on selling services in wholesale channels
  • In-depth technical knowledge of telecommunications industry practices and processes, and network products and solutions
  • Proven track record and strong positive reputation in the industry
  • Strong social network in the telecom industry
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experienced in internal and external partner management
  • Ability to investigate customer concerns and solve them in a timely manner, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and easily adaptable to change and work under tight deadlines.
