About the role
- Payroll Specialist responsible for processing payroll and related finances in healthcare sector. Collaborating with team to ensure accurate salary calculations and social security contributions.
Responsibilities
- Execute payroll and salary accounting for a defined group of employees
- Correspond with employees, tax offices, health insurance providers and social security agencies, including certificate issuance and social security notifications
- Serve as the point of contact for our employees on all payroll-related questions
- Independently track deadlines and monitor ongoing processes
- Opportunity to assume team leadership of the Payroll department
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in payroll processing
- Very good, up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax law and social security contributions
- Strong service orientation, attention to detail, discretion, flexibility and resilience
- Confident user of MS Office
- Experience with DATEV Payroll desirable
- Experience in preparing statistics and calculating key performance indicators
