Sales Development Representative focused on client prospecting and generating qualified appointments for LexisNexis across Europe and Africa. Collaborating with marketing and sales teams for growth strategies.
Responsibilities
Identify and target relevant prospects using inbound and outbound approaches, leveraging data, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and target accounts defined in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams.
Execute a structured, multichannel prospecting approach (email, phone, social media, etc.) to generate qualified sales meetings through creativity, persistence and perseverance.
Qualify prospects and meetings, advance opportunities through the marketing and sales funnel, and hand over complete, actionable information to Sales teams (context, needs, challenges, maturity).
Use modern prospecting and sales engagement tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong Engage) to optimize performance, tracking and the quality of interactions.
As an integrated member of the Marketing team, work closely with Sales teams (Hunters and Farmers) to deploy effective development strategies and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
Requirements
Commercial education (business school or equivalent) and initial experience as an SDR/BDR, in prospecting or B2B sales, ideally in a technology environment.
International role (Western Europe and francophone Africa): fluent French and English required; additional languages are a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong telephone presence and the ability to engage prospects with impact.
Comfortable with intensive prospecting, resilient, persistent and motivated by meeting and exceeding targets.
Organized and results-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and a focus on the value delivered to prospects.
Ability to work in a team and proficiency with CRM and prospecting tools (Salesforce preferred), with a strong desire to learn and progress.
