About the role

  • HR Consultant handling recruitment and HR consulting for various clients. Supporting HR team and providing end-to-end HR services and recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment across a wide range of roles — from entry‑level through to senior management and specialist positions
  • Partner with clients to understand role requirements, organisational context and hiring needs
  • Draft engaging job advertisements and manage advertising campaigns
  • Conduct shortlisting, interviews, reference checking and offer processes
  • Provide market insights and practical recruitment advice to clients
  • Provide day‑to‑day HR advice across the employee lifecycle
  • Draft and review employment agreements, policies and HR documentation
  • Support clients and our team of HR consultants with employee relations support including disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Assist with restructures, role design and organisational change processes
  • Provide administrative support with workplace investigation
  • Support compliance with NZ employment legislation and best practice
  • Assist in the set up and delivery of workshops and seminars for clients on best practice HR and ER

Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruitment (agency or in‑house), recruiting across a range of role levels
  • Experience as an HR generalist, or a genuine interest in expanding into broader HR advisory work
  • Sound understanding of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Strong stakeholder management and client‑facing capability
  • Ability to network and build relationships with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding attention to detail on written work
  • Ability to manage multiple roles, clients and priorities simultaneously
  • A collaborative, solutions‑focused approach
