About the role

  • HR Intern at Brentwood assisting in mapping workflows and managing employee life cycles. Documenting HRIS processes and contributing to administrative aspects of HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • The HR Intern will play a vital role in enhancing a comprehensive set of HR work standards.
  • Responsible for mapping workflows, documenting timelines, and creating work instructions for managing employees throughout their employee life cycle.
  • Document processes related to the administration of various HRIS (Human Resource Information System) aspects and the administrative side of this field.
  • Attend first day orientation.
  • Full-time availability between June 1st- August 7th.
  • Adhere to all company rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Final Deliverable – Must prepare and present to management and leadership.

Requirements

  • Full-time student in a 4-year (BA, BS) Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, IT, and related fields.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
  • Be legally authorized to work within the U.S.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational and planning skills
  • Quick decision-making abilities using good judgement
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with computer charting applications such as Visio and some experience with LLMs such as Claude and GPT is preferred.
