Responsibilities
- Follow guided procedures to test electronic devices for quality and functionality
- Assist in the secure sanitization of hard drives and storage media (training provided)
- Identify and categorize different types of components (CPUs, RAM, storage) and electronic commodities
- Learn to use our ERP system to accurately enter hardware specifications and test results
- Safely use tools to take apart electronics for recycling or part harvesting
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output and quality targets
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A basic interest in computer parts (knowing what a hard drive or motherboard looks like is a plus!)
- Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift and comfortably lift up to 20 lbs regularly (and up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Ability to enter data accurately into a computer and follow safety protocols
- A strong work ethic and the ability to arrive on time for a full-time warehouse schedule.
