About the role

  • Manager supporting Transaction Banking sales and enablement efforts across Canada. Collaborating with several teams to enhance service offerings and drive client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and tactical support to help Treasury Solution Specialists in both Corporate Client Group and Mid-Market Commercial to attract (new) and retain business across Canada.
  • Actively participate in the proposal management process provides direct support to the sales force by developing client communications to support RBC's revenue generation efforts.
  • Support in Transaction Banking Enablement activities.
  • Collaborate closely with business and functional partners across Transaction Banking, Corporate Client Group, and Mid-Market Commercial to provide support on other tasks as necessary to support Transactional Banking business needs.
  • Contributes to individual and unit sales objectives by providing appropriate solutions in proposals and RFPs with a continued focus on relationship building, revenue generation and client loyalty.
  • Provides solutions and business advice in client communications designed to satisfy clients' total financial services needs with a consistent focus on building long term RBC client relationships.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with service partners to optimize service levels and operational opportunities.
  • Analyze data and develop business cases to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Maintains and update the Qvidian database to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Performs related duties as required to support departmental objectives.
  • Willingness to learn new skills while building partnerships with stakeholders and fostering teamwork.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast-paced environment as this is a role requiring above average organizational skills and a proven capacity for coping with multiple competing priorities.

Requirements

  • University/College education or professional designation equivalents or relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of the RBC Transaction Banking (Cash Management and Trade) Products, emerging industry trends, and the ability to speak to broader RBC strategies, relevant industry/legislative issues
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to match client need with product/structure solution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including exacting attention to detail related to complex and customized documentation requirements
  • Ability to prioritize in managing multiple and sometimes conflicting time demands
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required to candidates in the province of Quebec, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
  • Fluency in French if outside of the province of Quebec.
