About the role
- Manager of Hospital Billing providing operational leadership for billing at Huron Healthcare. Ensuring compliance, performance excellence, and team development in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage hospital billing teams to ensure timely and accurate claim submission and follow-up
- Partner with Huron and Luminis leadership to implement strategies that align with revenue cycle objectives
- Monitor hospital billing performance metrics, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to meet KPIs
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations governing hospital billing
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to resolve escalated billing issues and improve workflows
- Support staff development through training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Assist with technology initiatives, including Epic optimization, to enhance hospital billing processes
- Contribute to resource planning and operational improvements to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6–8 years of experience in healthcare billing operations
- At least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Strong knowledge of hospital and professional billing processes
- Epic experience preferred
- Proven ability to analyze data, manage teams, and implement process improvements
- Must be able to work onsite at Luminis Health facilities
