About the role

  • Sales Manager driving B2B sales for cutting-edge quantum communication technologies at qtlabs. Responsible for lead generation, bid management, and account management in a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation
  • Commercial bid management
  • Account management and customer education
  • Market analysis and sales strategies
  • Implementation of a customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Represent qtlabs at conferences and trade fairs
  • Support product definition

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical or natural sciences discipline with a strong understanding of (optical) communications, optics, and quantum physics
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in the space, photonics, or telecommunications sectors
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive sales approach, adaptable to new technologies, and experienced in long-term client relationship management
  • Highly independent with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively
  • Careful and organized handling of tender/bid processes
  • Ability to work closely with R&D teams and business development on complex bids and product definition
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus but not required)
