About the role

  • Logistics Manager leading logistics operations and coordinating team performance at ProTrans. Managing client communications and resolving supply chain concerns in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve performance on the assigned Logistics Coordinator team.
  • Act as a liaison between Customer and ProTrans to meet or exceed established service level agreements.
  • Develop communication and operational processes with Customers and suppliers.
  • Serve as an escalation point to address and resolve significant customer concerns.
  • Assist in managing CPAR/8D process when a quality issue occurs for assigned customers.
  • Prepare relevant performance information to attend customer meetings and manage projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field
  • At least 5 years’ proven experience in logistics/transportation and managing +10 people groups
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to effectively lead meetings – face to face, conference calls and/or on-line
  • Good customer relations skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all management levels
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and quickly adapt to changing circumstances/environment
  • Willing to travel as necessary
  • Must have valid Visa and/or Passport to travel within North America.
