Responsibilities
Manage and improve performance on the assigned Logistics Coordinator team.
Act as a liaison between Customer and ProTrans to meet or exceed established service level agreements.
Develop communication and operational processes with Customers and suppliers.
Serve as an escalation point to address and resolve significant customer concerns.
Assist in managing CPAR/8D process when a quality issue occurs for assigned customers.
Prepare relevant performance information to attend customer meetings and manage projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field
At least 5 years’ proven experience in logistics/transportation and managing +10 people groups
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
Ability to effectively lead meetings – face to face, conference calls and/or on-line
Good customer relations skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all management levels
Ability to grasp new concepts and quickly adapt to changing circumstances/environment
Willing to travel as necessary
Must have valid Visa and/or Passport to travel within North America.
