Responsibilities
Draft high-quality, complex contracts, change orders and associated deliverables.
Develop accurate complex budgets for contracts and change orders.
Perform budget analysis.
Understand contract terms and identify adjustments to financial terms as needed.
Accountable for adherence to the contracts and change order processes and deliverables, working in collaboration with global operational teams as needed.
Participate in departmental initiatives, as needed.
Assist in training and support of lesser experienced team members.
Perform senior level peer reviews and/or QC review providing guidance and training as necessary.
Participate in client meetings, as requested.
Requirements
Degree, or equivalent experience ideally in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline.
Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the life sciences.
Proposal, Contract, or Change Order development experience required.
Experience creating and submitting budgets.
Knowledge of industry standards relating to change orders and contracts including budgeting, document language, processes for creation and finalization, etc.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinking and problem solving.
Ability to work efficiently with high attention to detail while meeting multiple concurrent deadlines.
Clinical research and / or consulting knowledge.
Proficient in budget and contract preparation.
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications, including intermediate-to-advanced level proficiency with complex formulas and data analysis.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills including ability to quickly shift priorities.
Ability to work closely with and communicate effectively to all levels across the organization.
Exhibits self-motivation and can work and plan independently as well as in a team environment.
