About the role
- Trading Operations Engineer ensuring uptime and reliability of trading platforms at fintech Pepperstone. Supporting trading systems and driving infrastructure projects to enhance client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 & 3 escalation and operational support across the business
- Monitor trading systems, proxy servers, liquidity hubs and third-party applications
- Configure MT4, MT5 and cTrader trading servers to meet business and regulatory needs
- Ensure the continuous operation of all trading services
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage upgrades and document processes
- Monitor product pricing and resolve pricing issues efficiently
- Complete daily operational tasks as required by the business and regulators
- Collaborate with IT and external technology providers on trading infrastructure projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance or related discipline
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar analyst or operations role
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands-on experience with project management tools
- Knowledge of Python and SQL (advantageous)
- Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and shifts
