Responsibilities
Enforcing and supporting fire protection standards and processes within Ford.
Collaborating with Corporate Fire Protection Engineering, Ford Land, Safety, and other internal skill teams.
Managing risk based on recognized internal processes, technology, and resources.
Supporting a proactive, consultative, and business-aligned culture and approach to Ford Motor Company Global Security & Fire deliverables.
Providing input and support as a technical subject matter expert to Ford facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Protection Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Risk Management, Fire Science, or a related field, with three (3) years of fire protection experience or a combination of education and work experience.
In-depth knowledge and experience of fire protection and prevention principles related to risk management.
Excellent knowledge of fire codes and standards.
Experience with 3rd party service management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills (soft skills).
