About the role

  • Sales Development Representative generating and qualifying leads for PeopleJoy's growth. Engaging in cold outreach and nurturing prospects through the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Targeted outbound outreach via phone, email, social media, and conferences
  • Conducting first-call discovery to qualify prospects
  • Reactivating stale or inactive leads
  • Scheduling qualified meetings for sales closers
  • Updating and maintaining our CRM (HubSpot)
  • Building and executing outbound workflows using sales engagement tools

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required resilience and persistence in the face of rejection (e.g., sales, athletics, entrepreneurship, performing arts, writing)
  • Are process-driven, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Thrive as a team player (bonus points if you’ve played a team sport)
  • Bring your own energy and positivity wherever you go
  • Enjoy working with entrepreneurs and navigating ambiguity
  • Are a self-starter who has taught yourself a new skill in the past year
  • Are technically savvy and comfortable with MS Office or Google Workspace
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Have a strong work ethic and follow-through.
