Join as an Account Executive for accounting firms in La Réunion. Sell and onboard Medium-sized firms onto Pennylane, drive growth across your regional portfolio, and ensure excellent ongoing support.
Responsibilities
📈 Structure two sales teams: one that engages with French SME leaders and the other that works with accounting firms. The second team is divided into three segments: Small (firms managing 3,500 files).
🎯 Your mission
Given the business growth and the objectives for 2025, we are opening new Account Executive positions focused on firms to join the Medium team on the accounting-firm side.
Your mission will be to understand the accounting and financial reporting challenges faced by SME leaders and by accounting firms, and what Pennylane can bring to both groups. Once you have this understanding, you will be responsible for a region of France, and your objective will be to convince Medium-sized accounting firms in your territory.
How?
You will conduct meetings, remotely or in person, during which you will engage with accounting firms to:
Understand their firm and the challenges they face in meeting the needs of their teams and clients
Present Pennylane and demonstrate how it would change their day-to-day operations
Close the sale with the firm, encouraging them to manage a significant portion of their portfolio’s accounting on Pennylane
Once the sale is closed and the first client files are managed by the accounting firm, you will support the firm over time to:
Retain and grow the number of files managed on Pennylane. Drive growth across your portfolio of firms
Coordinate support teams to ensure the service delivered meets the firms’ expectations
Develop a network of promoter firms that can refer other peers
Other actions to perform:
Interact with the sales teams on the “client” side to ensure the firm-client virtuous cycle runs smoothly
Conduct targeted prospecting (emails, hot calls, event participation, etc.) for high-potential firms
Analyze your performance, learn from other team members, and share your techniques to improve the team’s performance
Position based in La Réunion, requiring frequent travel.
