Responsibilities
Assist with administrative tasks to support the SP team’s fundraising efficiency, including file management, updating funder portals and databases, and maintaining accurate funder/donor records.
Support the maintenance of efficient systems and effective communication by reviewing and summarizing donor feedback and requesting donor testimonials.
Support the SP team’s annual review of our communications products and the process of philanthropic stakeholder mapping.
Identify potential new domestic and international funders through research and database mining.
Other tasks such as the creation of backgrounders and assisting with proposal and report development.
Requirements
You are a student enrolled in fundraising, communications, business, public policy, sustainability, economics, or a related field at an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution.
You’re highly motivated and passionate about using your research, communication, and analytical skills to contribute meaningfully to transitioning Canada to clean energy — you’re driven to make an impact.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information clearly for different audiences.
Solid research and analytical abilities, ideally with experience gathering and organizing information from diverse sources.
Interest in non-profit fundraising, donor engagement, or partnerships development.
Self-motivated and results-oriented; can take initiative.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability and commitment to work hybrid, full-time (37.5 hours per week) from May 4th to August 28th, 2026.
