About the role

  • Senior Payroll Specialist at Payroll-HR Consulting GmbH managing payroll and HR administration for diverse clients. Providing consultancy on payroll-related legal matters and optimizing processing.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the complete and timely execution of monthly payroll processing for our clients
  • Advising and supporting clients on all payroll and payroll-related employment law matters
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal regulations and collective bargaining agreements in payroll processing
  • Analyzing and optimizing existing payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Guiding and training junior team members and taking on complex special projects in the payroll area

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in payroll, ideally in a similar role
  • Solid knowledge of income tax and social insurance law as well as employment law
  • Experience with common payroll systems and HR software
  • Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
