About the role

  • AP/AR Support Specialist providing daily support for Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. Collaborating with vendors and clients to ensure accuracy and compliance in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Responsibilities

  • The AP/AR Support Specialist provides daily support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions across multiple entities.
  • Assists with invoice entry, payment processing, billing, collections outreach, reconciliations, and resolving account issues.
  • Works closely with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, timely follow-up, and compliance with company financial policies.
  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, documentation, and approval routing.
  • Support weekly and monthly payment runs, including ACH, check, and virtual card payments.
  • Conduct collections outreach and follow-up on past-due invoices, documenting all activity.
  • Perform recurring reconciliations, including AP/AR aging reports and statement matching.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service, ensuring timely issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in AP, AR, or general accounting experience.
  • Experience managing up to 1500 invoices per month and ensuring accuracy in GL accounts/classes coding.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Bill.com, and other accounting systems.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, detail, and accountability.
  • Strong skills in using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated accounting system.
  • Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents.
  • Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving/judgment skills, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Excellent active listening and presentation skills.
