About the role

  • Estimating Team Manager leading a team in performance management and SMART goal creation. Focusing on accuracy, speed, and customer service within a national organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of estimators in performance management, SMART goal creation, and team meetings
  • Support the team with claim management escalations, performance accountability, and general oversight
  • Recruits, onboards, and trains new team members
  • Completes monthly meetings with team members for performance coaching and management
  • Communicates effectively with direct reports, supervisors, franchisees, insurance carrier partners, and all stakeholders within the organization

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in insurance claims or related field
  • One plus years of experience with estimation principles, concepts, and experience in the property restoration/insurance industry
  • 3 plus years of experience with personnel management or coaching
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Forms, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of estimating platforms; Xactware Products, Symbility, and other estimating software
