About the role

  • Retail Manager overseeing boutique operations and team management at Aroma-Zone's new store in Thiais. Ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales goals in a dynamic cosmetic retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all store activities to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve commercial objectives
  • Manage your teams across sales, cash register, stock and workshop (coaching, organization, communication, vision, sharing objectives and results)
  • Take responsibility for the quality of customer reception, services and advice to guarantee customer satisfaction (strong on‑floor presence and versatility)
  • Produce reports and activity analyses and recommend continuous improvement measures
  • Optimize staffing schedules while respecting allocated budgets
  • Provide staff training on best practices for customer reception, advising and sales, product knowledge and protocols, and perform regular audits to ensure compliance
  • Oversee supply and replenishment, aiming for “zero out‑of‑stock” by ensuring efficient stock organization and shelf restocking; organize and lead inventory counts to minimize shrinkage
  • Monitor tills and the accuracy of bank deposits, and report information to the accounting department
  • Ensure smooth organization and execution of store opening and closing procedures
  • Coordinate external service providers (technical maintenance, premises and equipment upkeep, security, etc.) to ensure compliance and safety of the premises
  • Be responsible for the store’s presentation and surrounding exterior areas: ensuring the location reflects the company image (cleanliness, merchandising setup, optimizing customer flow, etc.)

Requirements

  • Degree or training in business/commerce
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience managing teams in the retail sector
  • Knowledge of cosmetic and/or organic products is a plus
  • Strong understanding of retail operations: customer advising, reporting, performance indicators (KPIs), inventory management
  • Proficient in office software (MS Office) and POS systems (ideally Cegid)
  • Good level of English
