About the role

  • Legal Intern providing research and legal support for BMW Finance's operations in France. Involves drafting legal documents and assisting legal compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research in response to questions submitted to the Legal Department by various business lines.
  • Draft summaries and in-depth analyses of legal issues.
  • Monitor legal developments, with a specific focus on banking regulations and rules related to long-term vehicle leasing.
  • Assist in drafting legal briefs and training materials.
  • Assist in preparing, drafting and reviewing client and supplier contracts.
  • Handle certain matters in cooperation with the legal team.
  • Draft standard recommendations for advertising and commercial promotional campaigns.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (e.g., Master 2) in Business Law, Contract Law, Banking Law, Distribution & Consumer Law, or equivalent.
  • Rigorous and possess strong written drafting skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently.
  • Adaptable and curious, with an ability to understand operational needs.
  • Proficiency in English, particularly written English, is required.
