About the role

  • Business Development Representative engaging prospects for OVRSEA, a freight tech startup. Collaborating with sales to drive customer acquisition in Spain's market.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with prospects, understand their needs, and generate interest by securing meetings or platform demos.
  • Report directly to General Manager, collaborating closely with two Account Executives.
  • Lead generation: develop prospecting techniques (LinkedIn, Hubspot, email...).
  • Prospecting: contact identified targets, be relevant to customers.
  • Improve sales techniques: measure conversion rates, document approaches in CRM (Salesforce).

Requirements

  • Previous experience in marketing and/or sales, ideally including cold calling and prospecting.
  • Native Spanish speaker with a good level of English. Catalan is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a hunter mindset, and value high-quality execution.
  • Eager to learn and grow rapidly in a sales-driven environment.
