About the role
- Product Manager responsible for product vision and strategy in real-time simulation at OPAL-RT. Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and support energy transition initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Translate senior management (SM) directives into product decisions that align with the architecture and business objectives
- Build and maintain the backlog, prioritize customer requests, and manage dependencies between products and programs
- Align R&D, QA, senior management (SM), Marketing, Sales, Services, and Operations on priorities and facilitate decision-making
- Ensure product performance, stability, usability, supportability, and documentation
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset)
- 6+ years in software development, systems engineering, or product management
- Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog tools (JIRA or equivalent)
