About the role

  • Senior Account Executive driving complex sales opportunities for payroll solutions at OnTheClock. Mentoring peers and refining sales process while managing high-complexity accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Own and close higher-complexity opportunities across current and future OnTheClock products, including time tracking, payroll, advanced scheduling, and HR-lite functionality, for larger and multi-location accounts.
  • Lead deeper discovery conversations around payroll workflows, pay schedules, and compliance needs.
  • Deliver advanced product demos highlighting payroll integration, reporting, and operational value.
  • Consistently convert trials to paid customers at above-average rates.
  • Secure payment on file and close complex deals through to completion
  • Maintain best-in-class opportunity management, forecasting, and deal hygiene in Salesforce
  • Partner closely with Payroll Implementation and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and successful customer launches
  • Mentor and support Account Executives through call coaching, deal strategy, and best-practice sharing
  • Contribute to sales playbooks, scripts, and ongoing process improvements

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and overperformance
  • Experience selling payroll, HR, or compliance-related software preferred
  • Strong command of Salesforce and pipeline management
  • Ability to manage longer or more complex buying cycles
  • Strong executive-level communication and deal strategy skills
