Sales Engineer/Account Manager working on energy infrastructure projects. Engaging with clients from various sectors including utilities & renewables in Frankfurt.
Responsibilities
Expand and maintain existing customer relationships and acquire new customers in the low- and medium-voltage sector
Provide detailed customer support and advice using technical expertise, needs analyses, and technical and commercial feasibility consulting
Negotiate contracts through to order placement and handover of the installation
Execute action plans
Monitor market trends and competitor activities and derive recommendations for the sales strategy
Support site management and contract management in the technical processing and controlling of acquired projects
Work closely with project managers during tender preparation and order processing
Requirements
Technical degree in electrical engineering / power engineering or vocational training with further qualification (technician/master craftsman) and relevant professional experience
Enthusiasm for topics such as system business, electrical power distribution, renewable energy feed-in, energy storage media, sector coupling and digitalization (smart and micro grid)
Initial experience as a salesperson / account manager in a technical field
Sales talent and strong communication skills
Fluent German and good English
First project experience in low-, medium- and high-voltage
Knowledge of SAP is desirable
Driving licence class B
