About the role

  • Sales Engineer/Account Manager working on energy infrastructure projects. Engaging with clients from various sectors including utilities & renewables in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

  • Expand and maintain existing customer relationships and acquire new customers in the low- and medium-voltage sector
  • Provide detailed customer support and advice using technical expertise, needs analyses, and technical and commercial feasibility consulting
  • Negotiate contracts through to order placement and handover of the installation
  • Execute action plans
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities and derive recommendations for the sales strategy
  • Support site management and contract management in the technical processing and controlling of acquired projects
  • Work closely with project managers during tender preparation and order processing

Requirements

  • Technical degree in electrical engineering / power engineering or vocational training with further qualification (technician/master craftsman) and relevant professional experience
  • Enthusiasm for topics such as system business, electrical power distribution, renewable energy feed-in, energy storage media, sector coupling and digitalization (smart and micro grid)
  • Initial experience as a salesperson / account manager in a technical field
  • Sales talent and strong communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English
  • First project experience in low-, medium- and high-voltage
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable
  • Driving licence class B
