Contract & Claim Manager managing contracts for energy projects, analyzing claims and supporting project teams. Involves compliance with safety and environmental standards in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Responsible for independent analysis, evaluation and commentary of contracts for energy plant projects
Comprehensive contract management across the entire project lifecycle in collaboration with project management and relevant departments
Development of project- and supplier-specific claims strategies in coordination with the Head of Contract Management and executive/project management
Management and operational implementation of measures to assert or defend change claims, as well as handling of scope changes and construction process disruptions
Support in schedule, cost and performance control
Evaluation of opportunities and risks based on the contract and project progress
Support in developing processes and further developing existing processes and strategies in claim management
Operational interface between departments, project teams and stakeholders and the Head of Contract Management
Compliance with and application of applicable standards and regulations for occupational safety and accident prevention, environmental protection and data protection
Adherence to VINCI Energies’ core values and principles
Requirements
Degree in engineering, law, business administration or equivalent qualification
Initial professional experience (approx. 2 years) in contract and claims management for large-scale construction projects, ideally in infrastructure or renewable energy
Strong knowledge of relevant legal frameworks (BGB, VOB, etc.)
Advanced contractual, commercial and technical knowledge
Structured, reliable and analytical working style
Proactive and communicative personality with a solution-oriented approach
Native-level German language skills
Driver’s license class B
Willingness to travel (to project sites as required)
