About the role

  • Retail Sales Manager representing and expanding the presence of a premium design lighting brand in Switzerland. Building customer relationships and managing project inquiries with a strong sales background.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company and its products to local, regional and national clients as well as retail partners
  • Expand regional brand presence through trade fairs, events and industry conferences
  • Build and maintain customer relationships with architects, planners, key accounts and partners
  • Manage project inquiries from product recommendation through to implementation
  • Serve as an interface between project teams and retail partners
  • Analyze market and competitor developments, including reporting and deriving actions

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in sales at an international (design) company, ideally with a focus on retail and contract sales
  • Existing network in the A&D sector (architects & designers) within Switzerland
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, plus intercultural competence
  • Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel frequently and flexibility in day-to-day work
  • Very good English skills; German language skills are an advantage
