Responsibilities
Connect the dots between customer needs and Nutanix solutions
Provide advanced guidance on Hybrid Cloud, automation, and Nutanix NC2 solution to influence decisions and drive adoption
Elevate conversations and engage with senior technical and business leaders to shape strategy and accelerate opportunities
Create tailored demos, deliver compelling presentations, and lead POC that has impact
Partner with marketing and sales to drive pipeline generation through bootcamps, workshops, and enablement activities
Stay ahead and keep sharp on Nutanix and competitive technologies
Build trust and develop strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and alliances that shape the ecosystem
Contribute to GTM strategies, influence product direction, and create training content to scale expertise
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
At least five years of prior Solutions Architect experience in a high-tech sales environment
Holding at least one of these certifications is preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Microsoft Azure Certified Solutions Architect
Strong experience in selling and architecting Public Cloud solutions, particularly AWS and Azure (knowledge of GCP is a plus)
Experience with VMC, AVS, or Google Cloud VMware Engine is preferred
Solid grasp of IT finance fundamentals, including ROI/TCO discussions and public cloud cost analysis
Comprehensive understanding of networking on-premises and Public Cloud
Exceptional communication and presentation skills—able to inspire confidence from engineers to executives
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through with precision
Proven ability to handle technical discovery, craft proposals, and help close complex deals
Competitive curiosity—eager to learn Nutanix inside-out and position us confidently against alternatives
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, adaptable environment, working with cross-functional teams
Thorough understanding of technical sales techniques and processes, including needs analysis, objection handling, business case development, and closing deals.
