About the role

  • Student Onboarding Specialist assisting students through the onboarding process at Joyce University. Ensuring documentation is complete and supporting students in their educational journey.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Admissions to guide students through the onboarding process
  • Monitor and track newly accepted and re-entering students through the onboarding process
  • Coordinate and collect required documentation to complete admissions files
  • Create, audit, and maintain student files to ensure all admissions and program requirements are met
  • Track key onboarding milestones including financial aid packaging, background screens, and drug screen results
  • Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets and provide data for reporting and decision-making
  • Meet regularly with Admissions Advisors to align and calibrate pipelines
  • Create and distribute accepted student lists for Program Directors and departments
  • Support registration efforts and serve as first back-up for the front desk as needed
  • Participate in university events such as graduations, receptions, marketing events, trainings, and advisory committees
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • An associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2–3 years of administrative or admissions-related experience (higher education preferred)
  • Comfort working with data, systems, and spreadsheets (Excel experience required)
  • Experience with CampusNexus, Salesforce (CRM), and Outlook (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to clarity and detail
  • A service mindset and hospitality-focused approach
  • The ability to collaborate across teams, adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities
