About the role

  • HR Head responsible for organizational development, payroll management, and HR processes at a leading exhibition company. Strategic role in shaping a modern HR organization with a focused team.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for all key HR areas such as personnel & organizational development, payroll, recruiting & employer branding, strategic workforce planning, as well as planning, monitoring & reporting of personnel costs of currently around €50 million p.a.
  • You will optimize and digitalize HR processes and lead HR projects.
  • You will strategically develop HR and the HR team, actively support transformation processes, and build a modern (global) HR organization.
  • You will act as a competent and proactive advisor to the Executive Board and work with the works council in a trusting and constructive manner.
  • You will make deliberate decisions and take ownership, acting economically to deliver sustainable results.
  • You will promote diversity and inclusion across the company and translate strategic visions into clear, actionable goals for the organization and your team.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience (approximately 7–10 years) across HR areas such as payroll, employee & leadership development, recruiting, personnel budget planning & controlling, collaboration & negotiations with works councils, as well as change and restructuring topics.
  • Several years of leadership experience in HR, ideally gained in a medium-sized company with international subsidiaries.
  • Enthusiasm for designing HR processes & structures and a good sense for HR trends and their applicability within the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in collaborative work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Degree in business administration, commercial training, or comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on HR.
  • Very good German and very good English skills.
