About the role

  • Sales Rep developing partnerships with Northern Customers (ND, SD, MN, & WI) for Vulcraft products. Responsible for negotiating sales and market strategy execution with high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong partnerships with our Northern Customers (ND, SD, MN, & WI) customers.
  • Negotiate the sale of Vulcraft products.
  • Work with the commercial team on devising and executing on a market strategy for the territory.
  • Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers.
  • Must be willing and have the means to travel.
  • Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week when required.
  • Develop/Train for District Sales Manager responsibilities to prepare for future opportunities.
  • Mobility is required to prepare for future promotions/opportunities.
  • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards always.

Requirements

  • Experience in reading architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, along with a general understanding of the construction process.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or related degree.
  • Experience in customer service and sales related roles.
  • 2 years of experience in the joist and deck and/or steel construction industry.
  • Working knowledge of SAP
