About the role

  • Leading Business Development Manager for Cloud & Software at NTT DATA. Driving strategic business growth in defined customer segments within the industry and services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically expand the business within defined customer segments of the industry and services sector
  • Identify new revenue-generating opportunities and position the company as a digitalization partner
  • Take responsibility for specific customer segments and grow business relationships
  • Identify, qualify and develop new leads and opportunities
  • Increase revenue, pipeline and win rate in bids and tenders
  • Actively position the technology portfolio with decision‑makers up to C‑level
  • Win strategic projects for onshore and shoring teams in new customer engagements
  • Develop compelling value propositions and confidently present them to customer executives
  • Work closely with delivery, portfolio and presales teams to orchestrate innovative solutions
  • Drive new initiatives with a growth mindset to develop business and influence stakeholders

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in IT consulting or the IT services sector within the industry and services vertical
  • Deep understanding of the challenges, structures and processes in the industry and services sector, with the ability to derive concrete potentials
  • Technical and domain expertise in cloud, AI, architecture or modernization
  • Well connected across the industry and services sector, ideally up to C‑level
  • Proven track record in acquiring, developing and managing projects at the intersection of business, IT and strategy
  • Strong business development and sales mindset with a solution‑oriented and customer‑centric approach
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills in German and English
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
