About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect net-new business opportunities within the Middle Tennessee market
  • Conduct pre-qualification of suspects to identify ideal Target Client Profile prospects
  • Generate and schedule first-time appointments through outbound efforts (calls, email, networking, referrals)
  • Build and maintain relationships with executive decision-makers (CEO, CFO, business leaders)
  • Drive early-stage discovery conversations and uncover business and technology challenges
  • Collaborate with leadership and sales team members to advance and close opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a strong local referral network with aligned professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect and pipeline data within CRM systems
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity metrics, pipeline targets, and revenue goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in services or technology solutions
  • Proven success in a **hunter, net-new business role**
  • Experience in a full-cycle or early-cycle consultative sales environment
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota and revenue targets
  • Ability to generate and maintain a consistent pipeline through outbound efforts
  • Experience booking and running discovery calls / first-time appointments (FTAs)
  • Comfortable selling to executive stakeholders (C-level, business leaders)
  • Experience with longer, solution-based sales cycles (typically 2–6+ months)
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, ConnectWise, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Highly coachable, accountable, and comfortable operating within a structured sales process
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Nashville area, with ability to travel locally
