- Material Cost Manager leading a team for a Restricted Program in aerospace division. Managing financial reporting, budgeting, and Earned Value Management for contract compliance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead a Material Cost Management team for a Restricted Program.
- Responsible for all material-related financial reporting, planning and forecasting, cash management, cost and schedule performance management, risk & opportunity management, Earned Value Management and all strategic and indirect management associated with the program.
- Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls material and material-related costs on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
- Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
- Prepares budgets for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
- Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
- Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 7 years combined experience in any of the following: Program Management, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or a related field OR Master's Degree and 5+ years of relatable experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to include Material Cost Control, Cost Schedule Integration, Integrated Performance Management and Financial reporting requirements.
- 2+ years of leadership experience either leading projects or teams.
- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with full investigation in the last 5 years.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the program.
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace or Aviation industry (preferred).
- 2+ years of Analysis experience with Bill of Materials, Material Requirements Planning, Procurement Systems, Goods Movement, and/or Parts Distribution (preferred).
- Special Program Access (preferred).
- Ability to interface with internal & external customers (preferred).
- Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience conducting Program Audits or Statement of Work Auditors with DCMA or DCAA (preferred).
- Prior experience with tools; SAP, MRP, Cobra and wInsight for planning and control (preferred).
- Prior Management experience with direct reports (preferred).
