About the role

  • Hospital Sales Representative in Sydney promoting diverse healthcare products to key stakeholders in public and private sectors. Ensuring alignment with national sales strategies and maintaining strong relationships.

Responsibilities

  • The Hospital Sales Representative is responsible for promoting, selling, and, where applicable, launching the Company’s products, including those of alliance partners, to key stakeholders across Public, Private, and Day Hospitals within the assigned territory.
  • This role must be executed in alignment with national sales strategies.
  • The position also requires maintaining all administrative processes to Company standards, while continuously developing and sustaining skills and expertise at a level exceeding industry and Company expectations.
  • The Hospital Specialist representative is accountable for:
  • Territory sales performance
  • Tracking Accounts purchases in relation to Volume Deals
  • Implementing the sales plan
  • Controlling of stock and samples when issued to them (including Temperature logging in storage facilities)
  • Timely and accurate administration and reporting
  • Maintaining prompt and accurate feedback
  • Maintain and protect all Company equipment
  • The Hospital Specialist representative must establish and maintain good relationships within both the sales force and the Sydney office personnel.
  • The Hospital Specialist representative must help to establish and maintain good teamwork with the sales team and the Sydney office.
  • The Hospital Specialist representative develops and maintains good professional relationships with the key personnel within their designated territory (ie Specialists, Nurses, and Hospital Pharmacists).

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in sales, with a strong record of driving performance in both primary and secondary care.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales across diverse healthcare settings.
  • Possesses in‑depth knowledge of the national market access landscape and its impact on commercial strategy.
  • Shows initiative and works effectively with limited direction.
  • Demonstrates proven managerial and leadership capabilities, driving teams toward successful outcomes.
  • Exhibits strong leadership presence and effective people‑management skills.
  • Remains composed and effective under pressure, consistently showing resilience.
