About the role

  • Cost & Progress Manager responsible for project cost control and optimization at Nokia. Enhancing cost transparency while collaborating with multiple sectors to achieve project success.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for implementing project cost control enabling active optimization and progress alignment in projects aiming profitability improvement.
  • Baseline projects according to the sold scope and maintain monthly updates of the estimate to complete during project execution.
  • Monitor and manage risk contingency usage, acting as budget assurance.
  • Challenge the status quo and create full cost transparency throughout projects.
  • Identify and report any non-conformance costs.
  • Focus on cost optimization and drive efficiency in project delivery.
  • Act as budget gatekeeper.

Requirements

  • Background: 3-5 years of experience in planning and cost management and finance, and Bs in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Financial Acumen: understanding of financial concepts and principles, including Nokia's Cost Management Framework, including usage of SAP, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with automated tools and efficient report generation.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in leading and overseeing projects. Certifications in Lean Six Sigma (yellow or green belt) and PMI will be a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English
