About the role

  • Sales Engineer developing customer-ready solutions and supporting sales efforts for Nextpower's foundation technology. Collaborating with product development and sales teams to ensure accurate pricing and proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Be the reference point for product development by working with Product Managers, Supply Chain and Sales Operations.
  • Be the reference point for service development by working with BU Directors and other senior Managers
  • Develop go to market and productization plans in cooperation with senior managers and facilitate regular PJE and Sales briefings
  • Identify key metrics to measure success of new offerings
  • Assist in planning new international market entries
  • Work in Confluence to provide "single source of truth" on product and service development.
  • Work with supply chain on local content options
  • Assist program manager answer PJE and Ops enquiries on product validation, procurement and certification
  • Assist in Co-ordinating and executing customer trials and demonstrations
  • Build and maintain a detailed product comparison tool to enable customers to analyze product benefits across all foundation solutions products inclusive of:
  • • A nalysis of installation times (based on actual time studies)
  • • material costs across tracker and foundations
  • • installation costs inc. direct and indirect costs
  • • product suitability guidance
  • Present above comparison tool with customers and manage technical enquiries related to the data within the tool
  • Work with sales ops to improve, manage and maintain pricing estimator to meet AU market offer
  • Incorporate new product offerings into pricing estimator as part of development cycle
  • Generate foundations proposals and lead integration with tracker proposals to ensure accurate costing and BOM development
  • Maintain technical sales documentation and manage enquiries.
  • Minimize risk of property damage, loss and mistreatment of assets under your teams care.
  • Positively contribute to Nextpower through participation, sharing ideas and previous experiences.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Essential Leadership skills with the ability to communicate at multiple levels
  • Proven ability to develop and manage relationships
  • Able to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences
  • Proven data analysis skillset
  • Quantity Surveying or Construction costing skills (Preferred)
  • Sales experience (Preferred)
  • Hands on construction experience (Preferred)
