About the role

  • Business Sales Consultant at Newsquest’s LOCALiQ selling digital marketing solutions through B2B sales channels. This role focuses on managing client relationships and driving measurable results via consultative sales tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Drive consultative B2B sales via phone, video, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Sell tailored digital solutions including paid social, Google Ads, content marketing, video, and websites.
  • Manage your pipeline effectively, sourcing new opportunities and re-engaging lapsed clients.
  • Build strong relationships and deliver campaigns that generate measurable results.
  • Conduct research into client businesses and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Resilient, proactive self-starter with a strong drive to exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication skills – confident, polished, and professional.
  • Media sales experience or a background in education sector sales is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of digital marketing products and strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
