About the role

  • Field Service Technician I providing on-site service and maintenance for ATMs at various customer locations. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and customer satisfaction in a hands-on role.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the NCR Atleos brand by being the first line of response on-site at our customers’ locations.
  • Problem-solve at a basic module level (FRU), organize and plan your time effectively, and know when and to whom to escalate issues to.
  • Apply the knowledge that you learn during your on-the-job training to resolve task related problems in straightforward situations emphasizing on manual skills.
  • Follow Safety and Security Procedures when working on ATMs. You will learn this on Day 1.
  • Complete NCR Atleos specific Trainings and Certifications on our training website.
  • Diagnose problems based on the error logs from the ATM and information provided from our service app using a company provided cell phone.
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of updates and details of the work performed at the ATM, including call closure details.
  • Maintain parts inventory and related records.
  • Accurately reporting hours worked and miles driven daily.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the specified geographic area.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Access to reliable transportation for work purposes.
  • Familiarity and ability to use and operate an Android cell phone (company provided).
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job which include:
  • o Prolonged travel during several hours of the workday, which includes inclement weather.
  • o Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size.
  • This role requires proof of the following minimum insurance coverage.
  • o Bodily Injury Liability: Minimum $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident.
  • o Property Damage Liability: Minimum of $100,000 per accident.
  • You may be dispatched daily on a call-by-call basis or have a daily schedule.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, and or flex shifts.
  • Must be able to safely work outside during all seasons with potential exposure to the elements.
  • Must have a high level of personal integrity and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Must have Basic Electrical and Mechanical aptitude, skillset, and knowledge.
  • Must have good problem-solving skills, be able to pick up new skills quickly, and work well under pressure.
