About the role

  • Service Engineer providing comprehensive support for JULABO’s temperature control instruments, including installation, training, and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems for clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • best comprehensive support to clients and users
  • installation and commissioning of units at clients’ sites
  • training of operators and supporting them with applications, setup, and automation/computer control on site
  • preventative maintenance, calibration, and service
  • advising customers on technical issues and fault diagnosis
  • ensuring demo units are in working order
  • assisting with loading and unloading

Requirements

  • qualification and experience in maintenance, support and installation of sophisticated electro-mechanical systems
  • background in temperature control, heat transfer and refrigeration would be useful
  • an ability to learn
  • great communication skills
  • knowledge of PLC and other computer interfaces
  • office IT systems, including Word, email etc.
  • willingness to travel/overnight stays
