About the role
- Professional Development Associate handling various banking training roles through rotations. Engaging in customer service and core banking operations within NBT Bank.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned duties, responsibilities, and studies throughout the bank as required.
- Familiarize with the operations and procedures in each department through training.
- Rotate sequentially throughout the company on a specified training sequence.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of teller transactions.
- Address and resolve a wide range of customer inquiries.
- Support various functions within Consumer Lending, Credit Administration, and Call Center activities.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in related field preferred in Business Administration, Operations or additional related degree.
- Established work experience in business or a customer service environment preferred (Internships, full or temporary employment).
- Strong desire and willingness to learn the banking business.
- Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving decision making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Must have positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Travel less than 50% required.
- Driver's License required.
- Reliable transportation required.
