About the role

  • Professional Development Associate handling various banking training roles through rotations. Engaging in customer service and core banking operations within NBT Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned duties, responsibilities, and studies throughout the bank as required.
  • Familiarize with the operations and procedures in each department through training.
  • Rotate sequentially throughout the company on a specified training sequence.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of teller transactions.
  • Address and resolve a wide range of customer inquiries.
  • Support various functions within Consumer Lending, Credit Administration, and Call Center activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in related field preferred in Business Administration, Operations or additional related degree.
  • Established work experience in business or a customer service environment preferred (Internships, full or temporary employment).
  • Strong desire and willingness to learn the banking business.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving decision making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Travel less than 50% required.
  • Driver's License required.
  • Reliable transportation required.
