About the role

  • Instructional Designer developing effective learning experiences that enable associates to adopt clinical/business applications at Nemours Children's Health. Designing training materials and leading instructional design projects.

Responsibilities

  • Independently analyzing learning needs and designing, developing, and delivering effective learning experiences
  • Deliver instruction to individuals and groups in a variety of formats
  • Perform all facets of instructional design process—analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Maintain records of instructional development and training activities
  • Participate as SME and primary writer in projects for software applications
  • Manage designated projects, review deliverables, and communicate with project team
  • Act as a consultant to clients seeking learning solutions and recommend appropriate educational strategies
  • Maintain application certification(s) to provide support to internal technical analysts and end users
  • Support and respond to questions regarding learning systems and tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Educational Media, Instructional Design or related field required
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience required
  • Certification in Epic electronic medical record application is preferred
