  • Call Center Agent in Florida Department of Revenue assisting taxpayers with inquiries on tax bills and delinquencies. Requires bilingual ability in English and Spanish, and prior customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Aid taxpayers via telephone and written correspondence concerning departmental billings and delinquencies and take appropriate actions to resolve accounts.
  • Examine and update departmental or taxpayer records and may contact taxpayer or other departmental personnel for final resolution.
  • Assist taxpayers with inquiries regarding registration, e-services, filing obligations, and departmental rules.

Requirements

  • Administrative, secretarial, clerical, or financial experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
