About the role
- Chocolate Product Developer working at Mondelēz International. Delivering RDQ activities for new product development and consumer-driven projects in a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements
- Communicate project status and risks
- Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements
- Write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and lead to conclusions and recommendations
- Create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications
- Lead medium size reformulation projects across different chocolate category platforms in the area of flavours in Europe
- Support Procurement sourcing and business continuity projects
- Validate alternative limited flavours suppliers on sensory and process-ability metrics
- Cooperate with Subject Matter Experts to assure limited flavours specifications deliver desired technical functionality
- Run pilot plant trials and basic sensory validations
- Challenge status quo, optimize formulas and assure efficient R&D resources utilization
Requirements
- University degree in Food Technology or Engineering, Chemistry or related area
- 1-2 years of experience in food industry
- Chocolate, sensory, PLM, spec management system, SAP knowledge would be appreciated
- Fluency in English required, other language skills (Polish) are beneficial
- General knowledge of food manufacturing technologies, ingredients and technical curiosity, ability to operate or to learn fast how to operate pilot plant equipment
- Good project management and negotiation skills
- Enthusiasm and full accountability for the results, self standing, open and ready to learn on the job
- Can do attitude, thinking out of the box, creativity and happy to take up the challenges
- Ability to work independently in a diverse and international environment
