About the role

  • Senior Sales Executive driving business growth in the public sector for Mollica IT. Managing relationships and leading proposals for government contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect business opportunities in the government and public sector, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives;
  • Define, execute and manage short-, medium- and long-term sales plans with a focus on acquiring new customers;
  • Develop partner channels and lead direct sales of authentication and secure identity solutions;
  • Build and manage C-level relationships with government decision-makers and strategic partners;
  • Maintain continuous contact with public agencies to anticipate procurement needs and promote the company’s solutions;
  • Represent the company at events, forums and meetings relevant to the public sector;
  • Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for government tenders and bids, ensuring full compliance with qualification requirements;
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Global Sales teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements;
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation involved in public procurement processes;
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for quality, security and ethics in all sales activities;
  • Use corporate tools (such as Salesforce) to manage opportunities, forecasts and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related fields;
  • Experience in sales or business development for government/public sector, preferably with authentication, secure identity or digital payments solutions;
  • Basic technical knowledge of Smart Cards and related technologies (Payments, Authentication, Transportation, Identity, Telecommunications or similar);
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
  • Independent, proactive professional able to work remotely with minimal supervision;
  • Availability to travel on short notice.
  • Preferred: Previous experience selling authentication technologies or smart cards;
  • Established relationships with government authorities and decision-makers;
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver technical and commercial proposals;
  • Knowledge of public market dynamics and government procurement regulations.
