About the role

  • Business Development Manager at Dal-Tile developing growth opportunities with new customers. Engaging and converting customer opportunities into active accounts and managing sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and convert customer opportunities into active accounts
  • Develop sales strategy for assigned territory to meet sales goals by closely following market trends
  • Actively seek new customers through weekly sales calls
  • Develop new account conversion processes and transition plans to ensure successful transition to other field sales teams
  • Manage pricing, product, logistics, and execution on all projects within the assigned territory

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 4-6 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once
