About the role

  • Account Executive responsible for strategic acquisition and development of new large accounts in various industries. Driving sales pipeline from lead generation to closing in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Independently identify, approach and acquire new enterprise customers
  • Develop tailored sales strategies and prepare appropriate business cases
  • Consultative sales approach: understand customer needs and convincingly communicate the value of Mitel solutions
  • Build and maintain a network at decision-maker level (C-level, IT management, procurement)
  • Own the sales pipeline – from lead generation and qualification through to closing
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets (revenue, pipeline, win rates)
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to uncover new business opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, pre-sales, product management and channel partners
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events and networking functions
  • Coordinate with international colleagues across the DACH region

Requirements

  • Several years of B2B sales experience in the IT and telecommunications environment
  • Proven track record in new customer acquisition and a true hunter mentality
  • Experience engaging with C-level decision-makers
  • Understanding of IT, cloud and communications solutions (hybrid solutions, UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP, MS Teams integration)
  • Analytical, creative and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
  • Confident use of CRM systems and digital sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • High self-motivation, target orientation and willingness to travel
  • Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
