About the role

  • Inside Sales Account Manager responsible for customer sales activities in aerospace and defense sectors. Focus on developing accounts and providing comprehensive support.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a portion of customer sales activities of new aerospace and defense accounts
  • Act as the Account Manager and key contact for Business Development Managers
  • Provide support for inquiries, purchase orders, shipments, and payments
  • Develop new and existing accounts by building rapport and providing world class customer service
  • Support growth initiatives for long product bars and tubes, machined components, forgings, and cut solutions
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Business Development Managers
  • Prospect through cold calling
  • Manage customer pricing and contracts
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to past-due accounts receivable
  • Strengthen customer relationships through regular communication

Requirements

  • High school diploma with at least 7 years of experience in inside sales, customer relationship management, or other commercial experience
  • Associate's degree in business or related field, with at least 4 years of experience in inside sales, customer relationship management, or other commercial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer relationship management, or other commercial experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Decision‑Making Under Pressure
